About Rahatlyk Hotel
A place to feel at home, far from home
Rahatlyk — the Turkmen word for comfort and ease — is more than a name. It's a promise we make to every guest who walks through our doors.
Our story
Rahatlyk Hotel was born from a simple belief: that travellers deserve more than a bed and a key card. They deserve a place that feels considered, warm, and genuinely welcoming — somewhere that reflects the character of the city it calls home.
We opened our doors in the heart of Mary in 1994, one of Turkmenistan's most historically rich cities — a crossroads of the ancient Silk Road, surrounded by desert landscapes and centuries of culture. Unlike large hotel chains, we take pride in offering more personal experience.
Every detail at Rahatlyk Hotel — from the locally sourced materials in our rooms to the recipes in our kitchen — has been chosen with care. When you stay with us, you are not just a guest - you become part of our extended family. We're a small team, however very big family thanks to you. We look forward to welcoming you and sharing our home with you.
What we stand for
Genuine warmth
We treat every guest like a welcome friend, not a booking reference.
Local pride
We celebrate Mary and Turkmenistan — in our food, our design, and our recommendations.
Quiet quality
We believe the best details are the ones you feel without noticing — comfort that just works.
